Design Academy Eindhoven
A collaborative digital and print project for PhD students of Design Academy Eindhoven, created by the design studios Quicksand and STBY for the University of Eindhoven. The project consists of a field notebook with a circular cutout in the cover for personalization, and a microsite—designresearchnotes.com. The interactive notebook features graphic/typographic nudges, text excerpts from the university for lateral thinking inspiration, and ample blank space for note-taking. Each element connects back to reference projects in the appendix and an online lexicon with design research tools and UN Sustainable Development Goals, encouraging students to move between the physical and digital content during their field research.

Unbox Cultural Futures organises festivals, labs, and publications bringing together diverse practitioners from India and abroad to collaborate and share their work. The identity for the Unbox Festival 2019 was designed to be playful and interactive, exploring the concept of "useless machines" through a vector Goldberg machine graphic and animation. This machine inspired derivatives like lenticular graphics, augmented reality experiences, a machine learning sentence generator website, and uniquely branded socks. The comprehensive festival branding encompassed venue signage, digital graphics, pre/post social media campaigns, giveaways, workshop materials, and festival gear
The project's design vision was executed through the collaborative efforts of the Unbox team, guided by Neha Singh's art direction.

⤷ Unbox Cultural FuturesLove in the Time of Digital
A digital publication resulting from a project collaboration between Quicksand and the Population Council India. It presents a proposed framework for planning, implementing, and evaluating digital platform interventions aimed at improving adolescent sexual and reproductive health (ASRH) outcomes. The design echoes the subject matter through bright web colors and glitch graphics, reflecting how youth increasingly turn to digital mediums for information, entertainment, and networking.
